First thing's first: I've got two tests this week and another on Monday, and they're going to be draining all my time and resources, so I can't put the meme up until next week sometime. I really, really want to do it, and all I have left to do is make the graphic, but yeah. Sorry about the wait!

In other news, my Photoshop class was cancelled today so I decided to take some artistic liberties and make an image comprising all my hopes for S5.

Alright, back to studying/going to the store to buy massive amounts of cheese and caffeine!

I've decided that after my last midterm on Monday, I'm sleeping for a day.

More likely I'll just go crazy and finish coloring that picture of Ruby and Milo. It's adorable, if I do say so myself. *has the lines done*

So... yeah. I don't know if I mentioned this here before or not, but I've been watching True Blood whenever I get a chance to go home and download the episodes, and it is epic crack. And I love Tara. I've only seen through the 5th episode, but I keep hearing that the last one was amazing, and I'm kind of getting excited. *hopes this isn't all for naught*

In other news, my first English teacher (I have 3... OH GOD WHY DID I DO THIS TO MYSELF?) told me he was surprised because, while I never say anything in class, I did really amazing on my midterm. This excites me because 1) I no longer appear stupid to him, so he can keep that frame of reference in mind when he grades my paper and 2) OMG MAYBE HE'LL BE NICE WHEN HE GRADES MY PAPER. \o/

I'm just... very tired over here. I'm back aboard the failboat in regards to keeping up with my flist, but this paper isn't gonna write itself, and these midterms need some semblance of studying for. Also, I suck. *shrug* I'll be back to full-steam random-commenting as soon as I can, I assure you.

Wow, I totally forgot that Pushing Daisies is on tonight. Good thing we have pecan pie for tomorrow; I've been having withdrawal, and that show doesn't help. Also, nuns.

Also also, shame on anyone who has never seen The Sound of Music. I mean, seriously. How do you sleep at night? *pointed shaming glare at [livejournal.com profile] tahu and anyone else who happens to never have seen it*

[livejournal.com profile] gembat: How much extra credit do you think I'll get if I draw Cabeza de Vaca riding a leopard?
[livejournal.com profile] gembat: And attach it.
[livejournal.com profile] tahu: xDDD
[livejournal.com profile] gembat: just for reference
[livejournal.com profile] gembat: To his badassery
[livejournal.com profile] gembat: It's such an informal class that I'm actually tempted
[livejournal.com profile] tahu: xDD
[livejournal.com profile] tahu: I would draw it
[livejournal.com profile] gembat: Oh it's getting drawn
[livejournal.com profile] tahu: But give it to the professor seperately.
[livejournal.com profile] gembat: Whether it gets attached is the question
[livejournal.com profile] tahu: Be like "I really liked Cabeza de Vaca. So um... here. "
[livejournal.com profile] gembat: "I was commiserating in misery with my internet friend and she said something about Go, Diego, Go! and one thing led to another and so anyway, here's Cabeza de Vaca riding a leopard."
[livejournal.com profile] gembat: I'm so sending him an email with that
[livejournal.com profile] gembat: I will be his favorite
[livejournal.com profile] tahu: xDDD
[livejournal.com profile] tahu: DUDE
[livejournal.com profile] tahu: DO IT
[livejournal.com profile] gembat: I am
[livejournal.com profile] gembat: I hate myself, but I am.

I am not going to die. I am going to be fine.

I can write a paper and study for my PoliSci test in one week. And I can knock out a rough draft for next Wednesday this weekend and move at the same time. I can. I've crammed for tests in shorter amounts of time than this.

I even made myself a schedule! I don't even have to start working on my paper until 7PM tonight!

I'M GOING TO BE FINE. I'M NOT GOING TO DIE.

There's chocolate chip cake and frolicking on Thursday. And I can even tape Pushing Daisies and watch it.

In three months when I have spare time again.

So, 3rd semester? Eating me alive. XD;;

BUT! I think I might've found my calling in life. I went to Advertising Club tonight (BY MYSELF OMGGGGG! :D), and the speaker was amazing. Not to mention I've always loved doing graphics and coming up with posters and such. I'm really happy. I may start majoring in either marketing or advertising next semester; it was that awesome.

And it's not just the meeting; a lot of things seem to have come together to show me what I should be doing with my life. Especially making those posters for my dad, so... yeah. I'm just kind of proud of the fact that I seem to be able to go places by myself and talk to people and holy crap you guys, I might be able to be a functioning member of society.

And Supernatural starts in 15 days.

And oh. I was forced against my will to watch 90210 last night. So....... [livejournal.com profile] tahu made me flowcharts. :) Then I made a mildly spoilery one for Supernatural, cause I'm crazy. XD It includes my new favorite crack theory, which I will elaborate on at.... a future time.

Seriously, I wanted to turn it off after 6 minutes, but they wouldn't let me. *has terrible friends* )

BUT TOMORROW! I'm going to read my flist! :D I'M SO READY TO GET BACK INTO THE LJ LOOP!

So what's been going on with y'all?

Guys, I'm so sorry I haven't been commenting or replying or anything, this past week has been madness and these two days have been hell. *sigh*

I don't get along with my roommate. Well, we get on fine, she just doesn't seem to want to talk to me. Which is making this intensely awkward. I'm hoping something crazy happens that we are forced to bond over, but barring a nuclear apocalypse of some kind, I seriously doubt it's going to happen.

Then my mom calls me this morning to tell me she had to go to the hospital in an ambulance (after waking up with her heart racing, and continuing to do so nonstop) where they told her she had "supraventricular tachycardia", so she'll be fine but I can't help but be a little worried and even more stressed out now, and it's not her fault, but... yeah. I don't even know.

I just don't need all this stress right now. I need to figure out how I'm going to not live on campus next year, I need to figure out how we're going to get our rooms officially switched, and I need to get food and books.

And I haven't eaten yet today, and I have a meal plan, and I can use it, I'm just too shy and have been shot down too many times to ask my roommate if she wants to go with me. So now my crippling social phobias are forbidding me from going out to get food. WHY, CRUEL WORLD.

But it's not all sadness and epic angst. [livejournal.com profile] tahu and I are watching random SPN episodes (Shadow may be our new favorite ;D ;D ;D ;D) to drown our sorrows, and I had a blast at the Student Center party with Sabrina last night (she gave me The Prestige for my birthday, which means I got two Christian Bale movies... HOORAY). Oh! We also painted dorky Batman and Joker shirts cause that's our current obsession. :) I am finding random happiness, and making all kinds of plans to not be in this room a lot, and I think it's going to be ok. So yeah. Ok.

Everything will be ok. :)

Wow... I can't believe I move in on Sunday. And it's Thursday. And I haven't even packed.

I have, however, been running around with my former-roommate, Dayna, who got back in town a few days ago. We're making plans to go see Hamlet 2, and maybe go to the special hell (I hear it's nice there this time of year?), as well as making ridiculously long trips to Walmart. Honestly. Either buy a skillet, or don't; we need to keep the train a-movin', and can't afford to stay in one aisle for more than 20 minutes OMG.

Ok, I think I'm done.

In other news, I dyed my hair, and am almost finished with Mass Effect. I love the former (It's red! Bright, semi-natural-looking red! HOORAH!), but I've begun to begrudge the latter. I don't know... It's not grabbing me the same way KotOR and Jade Empire did, and I think that's because it's so open. I literally don't know what to do with myself. I think part of the problem is that I don't have enough time to sink 30 hours in, so I feel like I'm rushing through it just so I can start to draw and read fanfic. At least I'm getting better at this FPS-style combat. GO ME. \o/

I also still have a ridiculous amount of art to upload--that stuff from Mexico, and a whole lot of Mass Effect sketchings. I should probably get that taken care of tonight. AghGHHGHGHG I'M SO SCATTERED. O.O

In conclusion, a few links for your perusal. I'm bored, at work, with only Reddit to entertain me. You've been warned.

Michael Phelps Returns to His Tank At Sea World. Sometimes I love The Onion.

The Smart Car Batmobile. It has fins! :D (WAAAAAAANT)

Aaaaand a Ghostfacers interview from Comic-Con, because [livejournal.com profile] tahu needs to see this. :)
