Alright, people. I've decided to use Twitter because... well... I really don't know. I've had the account, but I wasn't using it. Now I am. If anyone else is on Twitter, I'd love to hear from you, so let me know. :)

In other news, this may be the greatest thing I have ever seen. Ever. Barring anything else. I challenge you to show me something better. I submit that it cannot be done.

Tonight is Lord of the Rings and Ghostfacers and caffeine with Elizabeth. I still have to work on that football poster for my dad, but since I don't feel like it, I think I'm going to try to draw some Powerpuff Ghostfacers. Because that would be beyond adorable, and I believe that it must be done. Also, I'm insane. I really have nothing else of any substance to put here, can you tell? :D

In conclusion, I think someone should make a Supernatural fanvid to Higher Power by Boston. I just do. Mostly because in my imagination, it's fwooshy and there are shiny things and really cheesy lens flares, and this is highly entertaining and awesome. I really don't even know. I'm going to go ahead and give the excuse that I was outside for over 20 minutes this morning, thus exposing my brain to the sun and frying it beyond recognition. It's the only explanation.

Over the past few days I've been watching The Soup on youtube. Don't ask why (it has something to do with Fandom Wank and David Caruso, and I can't remember anything past that).

Anyways, I'm sure everyone and their dog has seen this clip, but I cannot stop laughing. And it's been three days.

So, here ya go:

For further hilarity, check out SuperHills Me. <3

In closing, a meme.

Here are the top 100 songs of the year 2007 (when I graduated high school, whoot-whoo!). Strikethrough the songs you don't like, bold the ones you do, italicize the ones you've never heard. (Stolen from various f-listers)

Proof I was born in the wrong decade. No, really )

Sooooooooooo....

I want to send a Postcard to the Supernatural studio. I've wanted to do this for quite some time.

I think I'm going to send them something with my Puffchesters on them; My plan is kind of to send something with the Dean being chased by the hellhounds on the front, and this madness on the back. Anyways, I need the address, but I'm sure I'll find it.

All I really wanted to say was...

Elizabeth is officially out of Mountain Dew, and this is why. )

That's Ruby, Sam, and... let's call him Snowflake. :) And yes, that's a rainbow.

And yes, we're going to try to buy tickets for Wall*E right now. Wish us luck!!! :D

Tonight was glorious, as I knew it would be. :D

A small rundown of our crack.
1) We watched: Dark Angel, Supernatural, Smallville, and The Princess Bride. Our day was quite Jensen-tastic.
2) WATCH THE SMALLVILLE BLOOPER REELS. THEY ARE ON YOUTUBE. MICHAEL ROSENBAUM, YOU ARE EPIC LOVE. MARRY ME NOW.
3) We decided Kripke should name the Season 4 Premiere "Hugs". Who's with us?
4) - The Pussycat Dolls' new song "When I grow up" will be the new anthem of the CW, and they will play it as Jared, Jensen, and Mr. Welling (with special cameo appearance by 1 Mr. Rosenbaum) gyrate in what is sure to be the most successful marketing ploy the network has ever created. That song terrifies me in ways I didn't know I could be terrified.
5) Princess Buttercup is a worthless piece of crap and Westley should dump her for one of the ROUS. They clearly love him.
6) We were going to salt and burn the skittles that were lost to us during an unfortunate dropping of the giant skittles bag, but.... We weren't allowed anywhere near fire. Ah well. It's for the best.

ANYWAYS. I'm going back over there Saturday for the Belmont, and we may roast marshmallows. This activity would combine my love of fire and sugar, and be THE GREATEST THING EVER. SRSLY. <3

In other news, I got sorta sucked in to the icon fest over at [livejournal.com profile] ohnokripkedidnt. I'm going to put a little grouping of the icons I've made here, just because I can. And because they're all really weirdly different than what I usually do. :)

Most of them are cracky. It's the mood I'm in. :D )

BREAKING NEWS!!! STOP EVERYTHING YOU ARE DOING AND GAPE AT THE AWESOMENESS OF THIS ICON!!!

Made by [livejournal.com profile] theoret, who is clearly made of SOLID AWESOME.

Oooooooookay. Here's the story: I drew a picture 3 1/2 years ago, and put it up on DevArt. Since I refuse to get a new account on that site, or to delete my old art, it's still up there. It's terrible (warning: not for the faint of heart). It also happens to get favorited/commented on randomly all the damn time. Which is creepy, cause it's pretty buried in the bowels of the internet, far as I'm concerned. But it's a piece of fanart for a really obscure book and thus, anyone whose ever read it or liked it comes to look at my picture.

Anyways, I've always said I'd redraw a picture of those two, even though I don't really even particularly like the books anymore, just so people wouldn't look at that picture anymore. I began to do so earlier this week (it's like my 15th attempt... they always turn out horribly for some reason *headdesk*). This one is finally passable, and I like it, and I'm going ahead with coloring.

But as I was coloring, a thought struck me. The look on the girl's face is friggin' SPASTIC. And I love that about it, but... couple that with the fact that the guy looks a tiny, tiny bit like Robert Pattinson if you cover one eye and close the other and.... I kinda want to turn it into cracky Twilight fanart. With unicorns and rainbows and SPARKLES in the background. Even though I've never read Twilight. I just enjoy the crack it creates. *cough*

Anyone have any thoughts?

The Picture in Question )

Dude, I'm getting ridiculously excited about tomorrow. :D "No Virginia" is coming out, as well as the Muse DLC for Rock Band, and I am just MUSIC'D OUT what with all my excitement. :) I even drew a picture of Amanda Palmer whilst printing once again (I'm basically printing and binding about 6 different copies of books; it's sorta crazy and/or ridiculous, and most certainly not what I signed up for, but hey! I'm getting paid! \o/), and I sorta like the way it turned out.

Pictuuuuure! )

I don't know if I'm going to color it, but... the legs definitely need some work. :/

I'm really starting to feel a bit of burning out coming on, though I don't know what for. I think it's because I"m staying up too late at night to physically be able to deal with getting up at 7AM every morning. Factor in the fact that I walk home about twice a week (I loooooove doing this. And will never trade my peaceful walk home whilst listening to the cheesiest possible metal for the WORLD. <3), and I'm just about feeling dead. I may take a small break from... everthing, so....... er.... Don't wonder if I fell in a pit (I probably did.) cause I'm just sleeping?

As for the title of this post, I was checking through my last.fm page this morning, and noticed that Coldplay was my top-played artist for the week. D: They released new tracks from their new album. They sound different/more better, I swear! THEIR MUSIC IS LIKE AURAL CRACK! Plus, I think one of the new songs is about Louis XIV, who I had to spend a lot of time learning about in my History class last semester, so I feel slightly justified. It makes me feel smart. Actually, I think I'm just gonna go with the crack thing. It seems to be my excuse for everything.

I have no words.

Other than the fact that [livejournal.com profile] popcornleader is an enabler, and lives in my brain. And owns my soul. Or something to that effect.

I have created the perfect storm. I have made something downright adorable whilst sating my lust for gore and need to draw Dean being mauled by hellhounds.

It's the most beautiful example of cognitive dissonance I have ever created. And I loved every minute of it. XDDD I just wish it didn't look so much like crap. I suppose that's what I get for doodling it on scrap paper with a ballpoint pen while waiting for my print job to finish. It was just too awesome to throw out, so I colored it with my prismas tonight.

Anyway, enough babbling about the picture, let's get on with this show.

PPG-style Dean being chased/mowed down by hellhounds (Click for full-view) )

I cannot WAIT for tomorrow night, y'all. CANNOT.

Hi, guys! I'm posting from work! *waves*

Today I'm scanning like a billionty contracts, so I'm stuck sitting here. May as well make the most of my time, eh? :D I'm getting paid for this crap. *shakes head*

Anyway, I have a few dilemmas. )

Lately I've been reading about the Asylum con, and pretending to work, but I've also been having deep thoughts about "Time is On My Side". Oh, yes. Very much, indeed. So much so, that I've come up with my greatest crack theory to date. *fistpump*

My theory is based purely on speculation, as I know absolutely zilch about the last episode. I just want to know if anyone else thinks this is even vaguely plausible. Or something. Perhaps I just want to write this down before the episode airs so I can come back and have something to laugh at. Because I get the feeling that after this episode, we will have nothing to be joyous about EVER AGAIN.

So without further ado... )

Oh, yeah. I'm sane.
spazz: (crack)
So... I've been going a little crazy today. Suffering from artist's block after drawing two full sets of lineart over Spring Break (I'm coloring them, I'm just slow.), and I think I finally recovered.

You know what helps me recover?

Crack.

I can only hope to have another insane SPN-related dream tonight. )

If you're wondering what the hell is going on here, just check out [livejournal.com profile] popcornleader and mine's thread on the previous entry. And even then you will still most likely not know what's going on. I sure don't. :)
spazz: (crack)
So, needless to say, I did eventually get back to sleep last night. And I had the WEIRDEST dream pretty much ever.

Starring me, a few of my cousins, Jensen, Jared, Kripke, and the next two episodes of SPN. Oh and also Elizabeth. )

Oh, I'm done, baby. With two of my finals, anyway. Only one left, and I'll be damned if I can actually work up enough motivation to study. Help me, I'm falling into a pit of bottomless Christmas Break.

I'm just so incredibly ready for Wednesday afternoon that I don't know how I'll get through tomorrow. I may work on character sketches for what now appears to be a Supernatural version of "The Devil Went Down to Georgia", starring the PowerPuff Supernatural Cast, with the Crossroads Demon as the titular devil, and Dean as Johnny. Oh, it's gonna be swell. I'm resurrecting ol' Yellow Eyes so he can play keyboards. I'm hoping if I unleash this monstrosity onto fandom, I can get into making up for whatever episodes we're going to lose by finding some interested parties to do voice-overs. I need guys. Or at least more deep-manly-voiced people like myself.

Honestly, though. I can't settle on a name. (Win-Puffs? Puffchesters? Puffernatural? Super-power-natural-puffs?) Potter Puffs had things easy with their alliteration. Heh... I don't want to be a total rip-off of that idea, so I'm going the animation route. Actually, that's the only reason I draw PowerPuff style now. It'll be easy to animate in flash, so I can make little webisodes to fill the hole in my heart that's being left by this writer's strike. Don't worry, though. I'm not going to be trying to make serious episodes with little bobble-headed characters; it's gonna be total crack.

I just don't know how much of the cast I should put in. I mean, Gordon is complete and total <3, but I don't know if I can/should bring him and Crazy-Jesus-Guy back from the dead. Also, John? I just don't know. I have evil plans, but I don't know how cracky I should get. I might need a check-and-balance system in place. I can go off the deep end. :S

So, yeah. Just been waxing philosophical about little munchkin drawings all night. I so need to get to work on my comic. I totally forgot about it. Maybe I'll do that tomorrow, too? HOORAY FOR TAKING ON TOO MANY FANDOM THINGS!

And also capslock.

And caffeine.

*finally gets some sleep*

So I've been listening to Mad World all day today. Many things have arisen because of this.

1) Promax announced their second "Making the Cut" competition, and since I'm now in college, I can enter. Yay, me. Supernatural is involved again, so I want to enter, but that's beside the point. I would enter if the only show was Gossip Girls. Honestly, I would. So I downloaded their footage, and started watching it and recognized the Hells Bells promo without Hells Bells playing and I don't know what that means about me. But I'm thinking about using Mad World for my song... Just don't know if that's the most efficient thing to do. Maybe a little too angsty, but they didn't provide any clips from Bad Day at Black Rock, so they're obviously not looking for delightful-crack-tastic-ness.

I can tell from the footage they've provided that I'm supposed to introduce the girls, but I have this beautiful silent, slow motion movie half-fully-formed in my mind, and it's fantastic. I just... I know exactly the sort of eerie quality I want it to have. There aren't too many brother moments in the clips they gave me, but I'm going to frankenstitch some together and oh yes. You will all see. Even if I don't win the competition, you will all see. My pro-ness.

*cough*

2) I realized the Gary Jules version was a cover, so I went looking for the original by Tears for Fears. Everyone in the world needs to watch this video. Now. Seriously. At least watch til about halfway through. Trust me, you'll know when you get there.

Mad World - Tears for Fears

3) I need to see Donnie Darko. I've never watched the whole thing in one sitting. Seriously. I need a good cry or something. Also Frank is love.

My finals got jumbled about, and now I have two on Monday, and one on Wednesday. So I'm officially on Christmas break next Wednesday at 3:00PM. Probably before, as it's my Astronomy Final, and I don't expect it to take up the whole class. Oh yes.

Also, my high school football team made it to State. :) So I'm skipping Final Reviews on Friday to drive with my family to Louisville for the weekend. We will party and partake of the greatest muffins in the world, and win. Also, my brother will play. And I will not freeze to my death.

Hopefully, I will tun out to be a good psychic.

Tonight in closing, I will deliver my thoughts on why Ruby has to die. (No Spoilers; I don't know anything... heh) )
