Well, I had to sit around and wait on the mailman for about 2 hours this morning; you might've noticed me around.

In addition to this, LJ is telling me that it's [livejournal.com profile] kateg123's birthday, so of course, I doodled a little doodle for her amidst my doodling. Naturally. :) Happy birthday!

I also did some sketches of my Rock Band character, Ruby (of course), and some KotOR stuff. But they're really terrible, so I'll put them up later, if at all. :D My aunt (the one I was dogsitting for) brought me socks back with her, and all is generally right and well with the world, hooray. I even got to walk home and sing Beirut songs at the top of my lungs. <3

Dude, I'm getting ridiculously excited about tomorrow. :D "No Virginia" is coming out, as well as the Muse DLC for Rock Band, and I am just MUSIC'D OUT what with all my excitement. :) I even drew a picture of Amanda Palmer whilst printing once again (I'm basically printing and binding about 6 different copies of books; it's sorta crazy and/or ridiculous, and most certainly not what I signed up for, but hey! I'm getting paid! \o/), and I sorta like the way it turned out.

Pictuuuuure! )

I don't know if I'm going to color it, but... the legs definitely need some work. :/

I'm really starting to feel a bit of burning out coming on, though I don't know what for. I think it's because I"m staying up too late at night to physically be able to deal with getting up at 7AM every morning. Factor in the fact that I walk home about twice a week (I loooooove doing this. And will never trade my peaceful walk home whilst listening to the cheesiest possible metal for the WORLD. <3), and I'm just about feeling dead. I may take a small break from... everthing, so....... er.... Don't wonder if I fell in a pit (I probably did.) cause I'm just sleeping?

As for the title of this post, I was checking through my last.fm page this morning, and noticed that Coldplay was my top-played artist for the week. D: They released new tracks from their new album. They sound different/more better, I swear! THEIR MUSIC IS LIKE AURAL CRACK! Plus, I think one of the new songs is about Louis XIV, who I had to spend a lot of time learning about in my History class last semester, so I feel slightly justified. It makes me feel smart. Actually, I think I'm just gonna go with the crack thing. It seems to be my excuse for everything.

Hi, guys! I'm posting from work! *waves*

Today I'm scanning like a billionty contracts, so I'm stuck sitting here. May as well make the most of my time, eh? :D I'm getting paid for this crap. *shakes head*

Anyway, I have a few dilemmas. )

Lately I've been reading about the Asylum con, and pretending to work, but I've also been having deep thoughts about "Time is On My Side". Oh, yes. Very much, indeed. So much so, that I've come up with my greatest crack theory to date. *fistpump*

My theory is based purely on speculation, as I know absolutely zilch about the last episode. I just want to know if anyone else thinks this is even vaguely plausible. Or something. Perhaps I just want to write this down before the episode airs so I can come back and have something to laugh at. Because I get the feeling that after this episode, we will have nothing to be joyous about EVER AGAIN.

So without further ado... )

Oh, yeah. I'm sane.

Yeah, who knew. I didn't go in today because I was stupid and read fanfic til about 3AM last night tired, but I'm going in tomorrow. I'm so glad I'm finally going to be able to afford my cosplay stuff; I'm getting a wig, and some fabric for a utility belt... Maybe even some hair dye, but I honestly can't decide on that front. I'm thinking about dying my hair natural red, and having some hot pink/firetruck red streaks in it. My mom is pressuring me into going towards a more natural color, but really... If I'm working in their office, no one comes in and sees us. There's not really a dresscode, and I can listen to Black Sabbath and air guitar in the printing room and SERIOUSLY Y'ALL THIS IS THE BEST JOB EVER. My mom was all "I know working sucks" and I was just like "SERIOUSLY. THIS IS THE GREATEST JOB EVER DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND THAT I HAVE NO RESTRICTIONS AND MUST ONLY DO MINISCULE AMOUNTS OF WORK WHILST PARTAKING IN TOMFOOLERY?! BEST! JOB! EVER!" I only fear the day they have nothing left for me to do, though it looks as though I'll have enough work for the whole summer. Now if I could just save some of the money to buy an apartment or something, rather than spend it on stupid crap like costumes and my hair.

I actually may take my wig when we go to Mexico. If I'm supposed to look all professional and crap at the dinners, then why not? I'll see what kind of quality it is when it gets here, I guess.

And yaaaaaaaaay Pie-day tomorrow! :D We're having peach cup-pies this time, and Maegan may swing by. That's the beauty of this thing: you entice unsuspecting friends with pie, then make them watch Supernatural. Works every time. :) Since she's coming, we may end up watching Firefly and planning our Indiana Jones costumes. I really need to get to Goodwill to look for a hat. Or a snake. Or something that will jazz up my costume; it's really boring right now. I don't have a clue what I'm doing with my hair. [/whining]

On the Supernatural front, I don't know anything about the finale. Ok, that's not true. I know when it is (but I could've guessed that), I've seen the pictures (but they give nothing away, really), and I know the title (but apparently it's changed 600 times). But that is IT. I may not even watch the promo tomorrow night but I totally will because I seriously lack willpower. Just... I guess this is my victory dance. I don't know anything, and I'm IRL friends with a spoilerholic! :D We even rewatched LDC last night (and Houses of the Holy, and BUaBS, because WE ARE INSANE, and were.... drawing parallels? Don't question our madness?), and I didn't learn anything new! :D I was ruthlessly pressured into watching ONE of the clips for the next episode, but THAT'S IT! :D I'M SO STRONG! *cough*

I'll probably be back in full force on LJ once I've gotten into some sort of schedule with this job thing. I did finish my cleaning today, though... I have a FLOOR again! *spins in circles in her CLEAN SPARKLY ROOM*
spazz: (sogoodtobebad)
I've gone off and uploaded a ton of icons (I still don't have a badass one. Surely I need a badass one?), and a mood theme. Tomorrow (Or more accurately, next week)? Layout! And a somewhat-kind-of-friends-only header. And a header-header. *will be busy* :D

I think I'm dying my hair tomorrow. With black cherry kool-aid. No, I shan't be dissuaded. Bwahaha, ha ha ha ha, haha ha ha. *cough*

Everyone else is asleep already. I mean, seriously? What is it, not even 2AM yet! I live with a bunch of pansies.

I went back to my dorm room today, cause they just opened up again, and hooked up my Xbox. My old Xbox, who henceforth shall be known as Dustin. I've got all my RPGs, and a stockpile of caffeine. Between that and studying, I don't think I'll ever have a reason to get out of the room or be sociable. :D Glee! *cough* I did bring a couple party games, but when everyone else has Guitar Hero, you really can't compete. Oh, Mass Effect, I pine for you!

Also, I came up with an evil plan for the summer! I shall get a job at the new "Malone's" that's opening within walking distance from my house. I love that restaurant, and I'm gonna at least see if they'll hire me for the summer. I'm betting my break will coincide with their opening, so... yeah! I should be able to get a bit of a job this summer, and close to home to boot! Yay, not paying for gas money!

In closing, about all this craziness going around about Supernatural's imminent demise or whatever it is at this point, an open letter to Fandom-at-Large:

Can we please just wait this out? They haven't canceled us, we're still on the air for sweeps, and we have a large fanbase/are getting reviewed favorably quite a bit lately. I don't think it's time to call fire from above down onto the blasphemy that is Reaper and its audacity to take our spot. The network is experimenting, which they have every right to do. To be honest, I don't generally watch the reruns anyway. Yes, we're like the only show that was removed in this schedule, but it's not the end of the world. I'm fairly certain I saw an article that said "Life is Wild" isn't scheduled for a return, while Supernatural is. So, there. I'm not for sure, and I may have just invented that, but eesh. Calm down! Watch your DVDs, read the Guide to Season 1 that your friend got you for Christmas (Yay! :D), and get around to editing your contest entries for Making the Cut.

Yeah, that's right. We're one of the shows the network is having adverts made for in that contest. Reaper isn't. So cool your jets, and stop this intense hating on the network. I don't think it's going to make them look on us with any more favor.

Maybe a bit too calmly,
- Sara

I am absolutely obsessed with Radiohead's new CD, and have had it on repeat for about a month. Yeah, I just got around to actually listening to it right before it comes out in a physical format. Sorry, Radiohead. I'm slow.

But it is fantastic. If you don't have it, go out and buy it, or heck. Download it for free. It's what they want. ;) But, really. Support this awesome band and their awesomeness. Fer reels.

Last night, they played a concert for Current TV, Scotch_Mist. More fantastic stuff if you feel like vegging out in front of your computer for an hour. Might I recommend "Videotape", which starts at about 24 minutes in.

One day I will find a proper arrangement for Videotape to where I can play it. It just sounds bland for me; if only I were Thom Yorke. Pretty much all of my problems would probably be solved. :P

Today, I did things! Like, work things! I fixed up a logo for a company as part of that freelance work I mentioned a bit ago. Oh yes. Hoo, yeah. *cough* I hope to be paid slightly soon, but eh. I've got a healthy little bit of cash building up. Meaning I've got about $100 and I'm probably going to blow it at Threadless. Because I suck. *shakes head*

No! I must be strong! *cough*

So... yeah. I'm gonna figure out some more of the new features in Photoshop CS3, and then get to work on making myself a layout for my journal. Hooray. Yay, world.

In closing, please to be writing Harry Potter and the Giant Crab War of Death and Possibly a Few Pirates, Mrs. J.K. Rowling. It'd be ever-so-delightful. XD;

*goes back to her insanity*

ETA: EEE! Snow! :D 2008 ROCKS so far. x)

So I took a personality test tonight; it's one that I had to do for school originally, so... it was sort of funny to see that I got the same thing. I just thought it was a fun thing; it brings me back to the good ol' days of livejournaling to post this here, plus it provides me with rant-fodder. This is always a plus.

What exactly does 'familiar with the darkside' mean? )

Seriously, now. Familiar with the darkside? Does this have anything to do with my plans to build a sith costume or what? And no, I will never stop laughing. I feel like this characterized me as a little more... dark than I really am. And also stupid. Because I know people are laughing at me for my weirdness.

Though it did suggest that I try a career in assassin-ry, so... there's that small condolence.

But I'm sort of concerned. I'm going to try to major in Journalism, and I don't know if I have the people skills for that sort of thing...? But I'm trying to change. Eh well. We'll see what happens.

Well, that was less ranty and more eeeeehhhhhhhhh. Probably because I've been up since 4AM, and no longer have the gumption to do anything but sit on the couch. But I got mittens! :D

And when you get right down to it, that's all you really need.
