Yeah so, I love the internet. <3

I'm having trouble getting the melodica I want for under $30, but it's not like there's any shortage of them, and I've seen them go for under $30, and I really don't have much more than that to spend, so you know. There you have it. I'll get it eventually. I've always wanted to do a cover of "Just the Right Bullets" by Tom Waits, and it just would work so perfectly with that. I'm a little excited. :)

On the projects front, some good news and a little bad. When we sprayed the final finish on our guns, my gun started losing its paint straight down to the plastic in a few patches, and we don't know why the hell it happened. So I'm a little pissed off about that, but it won't be too too hard to go back and put a little paint on it to touch up. I just need to find the time to do it.

But! I got all kinds of black feathers for $1 a pack, and 10 peacock swords, and I'm going to start putting the wings together next weekend. Means I have to come home again next weekend, but maybe I can get away with just staying one day. I just don't want to drag my sewing machine to school, or get into a situation where I'm dragging my wings between two places. But they're going to look AMAZING, so there is that. :D

Lastly, I finally started work on my Supernatural necklace! HUZZAH! Yeah nothing is attached to it, but almost, ok? I found a ton of charms in a bead store that would work perfectly with it, so now I have a little black bird, and a Colt charm, and it's going to be epic. Then I have to make four more, and my giant hands are making it difficult to close jump rings, but I don't care because they look so awesome. :D

I didn't have to go to church today and the extra sleeping in was nice.

So, yes. Re: My Prior Poll, I don't think I'm going to re-dye my hair. Yes, this is my answer to your overwhelming votes telling me to do just the opposite. I just... I think I'd rather let it fade and move on to red by the time the school year starts, and I do love the shade it's at right now, and it's so much WORK to get the stains out of the bathtub when I do it, and SCREW IT. I will dye someone else's hair and live vicariously through them or something.

I've been working on Batman costumes all day, and the little secondary spool of thread (I have no idea of the technical terms; I'm still very new to this whole sewing thing) ran out and I can't figure out how to restring it because I misplaced the instructions. I'm quite certain Sabrina is going to beat the crap out of me when I ask her to come over and help me tomorrow, but my stuff is all coming along so nicely, and my shirt looks AWESOME so I'm not sure I could be bothered. :) I'm still trying to decide whether or not I need more pockets on the back of my utility belt (they won't show, and I think I can fit my keys and phone into the front ones), but other than that, it's full speed ahead to the 18th. I'm so very excited. So, so very exited.

Yeah, who knew. I didn't go in today because I was stupid and read fanfic til about 3AM last night tired, but I'm going in tomorrow. I'm so glad I'm finally going to be able to afford my cosplay stuff; I'm getting a wig, and some fabric for a utility belt... Maybe even some hair dye, but I honestly can't decide on that front. I'm thinking about dying my hair natural red, and having some hot pink/firetruck red streaks in it. My mom is pressuring me into going towards a more natural color, but really... If I'm working in their office, no one comes in and sees us. There's not really a dresscode, and I can listen to Black Sabbath and air guitar in the printing room and SERIOUSLY Y'ALL THIS IS THE BEST JOB EVER. My mom was all "I know working sucks" and I was just like "SERIOUSLY. THIS IS THE GREATEST JOB EVER DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND THAT I HAVE NO RESTRICTIONS AND MUST ONLY DO MINISCULE AMOUNTS OF WORK WHILST PARTAKING IN TOMFOOLERY?! BEST! JOB! EVER!" I only fear the day they have nothing left for me to do, though it looks as though I'll have enough work for the whole summer. Now if I could just save some of the money to buy an apartment or something, rather than spend it on stupid crap like costumes and my hair.

I actually may take my wig when we go to Mexico. If I'm supposed to look all professional and crap at the dinners, then why not? I'll see what kind of quality it is when it gets here, I guess.

And yaaaaaaaaay Pie-day tomorrow! :D We're having peach cup-pies this time, and Maegan may swing by. That's the beauty of this thing: you entice unsuspecting friends with pie, then make them watch Supernatural. Works every time. :) Since she's coming, we may end up watching Firefly and planning our Indiana Jones costumes. I really need to get to Goodwill to look for a hat. Or a snake. Or something that will jazz up my costume; it's really boring right now. I don't have a clue what I'm doing with my hair. [/whining]

On the Supernatural front, I don't know anything about the finale. Ok, that's not true. I know when it is (but I could've guessed that), I've seen the pictures (but they give nothing away, really), and I know the title (but apparently it's changed 600 times). But that is IT. I may not even watch the promo tomorrow night but I totally will because I seriously lack willpower. Just... I guess this is my victory dance. I don't know anything, and I'm IRL friends with a spoilerholic! :D We even rewatched LDC last night (and Houses of the Holy, and BUaBS, because WE ARE INSANE, and were.... drawing parallels? Don't question our madness?), and I didn't learn anything new! :D I was ruthlessly pressured into watching ONE of the clips for the next episode, but THAT'S IT! :D I'M SO STRONG! *cough*

I'll probably be back in full force on LJ once I've gotten into some sort of schedule with this job thing. I did finish my cleaning today, though... I have a FLOOR again! *spins in circles in her CLEAN SPARKLY ROOM*

So yeah. Really, REALLY excited for that. I don't think I'm going to let it have an impact on my costume, though. We're still gonna go as Batman, Robin, and The Joker. Speaking of, Sabrina found some awesome purple boots, and we're going to get two-toned tights, and the world is gonna be a great place. Oh yeah. :)

In other news, I can't stop watching clips from the Led Zeppelin reunion show last night. Seriously. I'd give my arms to see them.... I really hope they go on tour next year so that I can. Honestly.... highlight of forever. That's what it'd be. <3
