Mar. 12th, 2009 09:03 amI LOVE GETTING UP SUPER EARLY AND STUDYING. I've tried so hard and so many times to break myself of this habit because I know cramming is supposed to be bad for you and stuff, but.... Wow. I'm always super focused and able to get work that would normally take me two hours to do done in one. Plus there's no one online to distract me.

Today is SPN Day, but I don't have anything to show for it yet. I'll probably do puffs tonight while waiting for the episode; it's preempted here because of the friggin SEC Tournament. We've known it was coming for a long while, but it still doesn't make it any easier. Hopefully the CW will air the episode around midnight tonight, but otherwise I have about 3 backup plans on the internet, none of which I've ever used before. SHOULD BE INTERESTING, WISH US LUCK. At the very least, we'll have omelets and mountain dew. Nom nom nom.

I went to bed at 8:30PM last night cause I was so tired, and I woke up at 6AM this morning without an alarm. My schedule is completely screwed to hell... Ah well, I'm writing my paper tonight, studying for my test tomorrow morning/afternoon (cramming is fun, kids! ;D), and finishing the paper tomorrow night amidst Ned and pie and concentrated happiness.
Sometimes I wish Pushing Daisies was on after Supernatural... it's like a little hour of happy, and I think I need that after all the manpain. When stuff happens liketahu watching Heart of all things because she misses the boys' carefree days where they had no angst, well.... Wow.

Too tired to sleep
Aug. 11th, 2008 02:24 amI hate myself. I have to work tomorrow morning, then watch magical movies all day and make pie, and then get all excited for birthdayly activities with randomfangirl29, and I CANNOT SLEEP. At all. Blegh.
I was sick all day Saturday, but I'm perfectly fine now. Who knows. I've kind of been sick off and on since I got back from Mexico, but this definitely has nothing to do with that.
( Nope, this probably has everything to do with the awesomeness that is Mass Effect. )
But in the end, the only complaint I'm going to end up having about this game is that it isn't KotOR 3. The graphics are so amazing, and they've got the conversation system down to a science. So why does KotOR 3 have to be an MMO?! I demand answers, Bioware. *sigh*

Today was especially eventful, but we'll get to that later.
First, I gotta take the time to say we're going on vacation from Friday through next Monday, so I won't be online at all this weekend. Take care of the internets for me while I'm gone. ;)
Alright, so... I was really spoilerphobic during the finale. That tactic failed miserably, so... I think I'm taking things the exact opposite direction. This means I've read the sides, something I've never done for anything before (except Dollhouse, but that's different. Totally, totally different.).
Anyways, I'm really delving into this spoiler thing for the first episode because October is way too far away. I'm thinking about making a filter, so if you'd like to be put on a spoiler-tastic filter, let me know. :)

I also made a few icons because I'm delusional about Dean's potential deal-coming-due-ness. I know nothing. I just want to campaign for him to live. Because of his pretty. Even though there's less than a week til the episode airs.

Also, I'm going to take a few requests for Powerpuff-style SPN icons/pictures/headers/whatever. I reserve the right to choose which ones--if I even get any requests--that I do, but... I'm bored and suffering from art block, and little doodles like that will help me get through. Anyone can ask, and the more random/awesome it is, the more likely I am to do it. ;)

Apr. 22nd, 2008 11:48 pmOkay, so my art class is the worst art class I've ever had. That doesn't mean I wasn't able to get some serious practice in whilst putting up with the nonsense. It was also much more structured than my Independent Study class in high school. So that's nice. I just hope next semester's 3D class is ok... ah well.
Anyway, my sketchbook is in my room as I'm supposed to be working on a self-portrait for Thursday, so I took some crappy webcam pics to share with the world!

:) I'm hoping it comes out around my birthday so I can weasel my mom into getting them for me. Or, who knows? I might have a jobthough it's not looking likely!
So... remember when I said I was going into these last four episodes totally and completely spoiler-free? Turns out that was a lie, and I'm a terrible person, and none of you should ever believe what I say. I stand by my decision to not be spoiled for 15 or 16, though. All I know are the titles, and one piece of casting info for 15, and I'd like to keep it that way. Though now it's looking like maybe I should've extended that to 14, but... eh, I can only keep myself occupied with 13 for so long. Even though it is shiny. And the boys + profanity is my new favorite thing. Who knew? :D

Super Happy Fun Times
Apr. 12th, 2008 01:33 pmI'm so sleep deprived... I think I've got about a combined total of 10 hours of sleep since Thursday. It's not going to be a pretty sight if I don't take a nap today.... heh...
Dayna's friend is awesome. And we have good times. I had the best night of pretty much ever with them last night at PF Chang's (our waiter was awesome and gave us free food and dessert WHOO), and we re-dyed my hair so it's super bright again. I may be able to get four uses out of my bottle of hair dye. :D For the epic win! \o/
I'm sitting at home right now, and it occurred to me that I should make an SPN vid for no reason to a Regina Spektor song. No, I have no idea what's wrong with me. So I'm downloading 3x10 again because it has a million clips I need and the one I have won't convert to a form readable by Premiere and ARRRRGH. Why do these things take so long? x(
So I'm uploading all my old Evanescence music along with my Regina Spektor music just so I can have a blast from the past.... heh... Wow I sort of hate my 13-year-old self sometimes, but... maybe it's not so bad?Don't worry, I totally know that it is.

I went with my dad to pick my mom and brother up from the airport today, so I was in for about two hours in the car. On the way back, I did some singing with my brother, but on the way there I did some doodling.

So that was my day of unproductiveness. Tomorrow I will have to write my Machiavelli paper, but I've done harder things in less time, so bring it on. >:)

1) We finished the 7th season of Buffy this past week, and I absolutely loved it. I think the second season will always be my favorite, and the sixth my least favorite. In conclusion, hoo-boy Angel was hot in the first season, yay Oz, yay pirate!Xander, yay Anya, yay Andrew, and whoo Joss Whedon. :) And boo Nathan Fillion. Seriously, that accent was TERRIBLE.
So... the roommate and I are looking for something else to watch in the one month (ONE MONTH! OMG.) we have left at school. We'll probably watch Firefly, but if you saw the way we tore through seven seasons of Buffy in essentially two months, you'd understand why we need recs. :) I don't think we're likely to watch Angel just because... while we're both hopeless Angel fangirls (and occasionally I love Spike. What? It happens!) that show plumbs depths of terrible I don't think we're ready for.
2) Fish!Dean died. :( So fish!Sam is lonely, but fish!Bobby won't let him sell his soul to bring Dean back, so now I don't think they're speaking, and there's generally a lot of depression. All I'm saying is fish!Trickster better be watching himself. If our fish are predictive for the show, well... let's just say I hope they aren't. We're thinking of getting another goldfish and naming him Angel. Re: Hopeless fangirls.
3 Still Alive = the most addictive thing EVER on Rock Band. I got my brother's headset and sang and played guitar at the same time and OMG MORE FUN THAN ANYONE SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO HAVE. I seriously need to play that game.
4) I'm majoring in English, at least for the time being. I finally found the school's video production/digital art courses; they were all hidden in the Art Studio classes... which, whoo, random. Only problem is I have to take a class in 3D art next semester before I'm allowed to take the Photoshop class, and that one before I can take the Graphic Design/Web Design/Video Production classes. I wouldn't mind taking the classes, but there's a part of me that thinks I could just learn all this on the internet. I don't know. I'm considering a minor in something to that effect.
I decided to just go with the English thing because I've always loved writing, just... I've never actually put anything I've written on the internets. I may dabble in fanfic just to see if I like that sort of thing. I don't know if I want to be a writer or an editor, though. Whatever. I'm just going to go for this and see what happens. The classes look really fun and awesome, and that's what I was waiting for. I want to look forward to waking up every morning. Unfortunately, three of my classes this semester aren't going to count for anything anymore, but... I really enjoyed Political Science, and may take another class in that discipline just cause. And I learned what I most certainly didn't want to do, which was quite helpful. :)

Should I scrap it, or can it be saved? I've been staring at it for about a half hour now tweaking the eyes and they're just... so wonky. Plus the jaw needs serious work. Argh.

Should I scrap it, or can it be saved? I've been staring at it for about a half hour now tweaking the eyes and they're just... so wonky. Plus the jaw needs serious work. Argh.
